What this test measures

Understanding your core work values is one of the most reliable predictors of career satisfaction. This assessment identifies your primary drivers — the things that must be present in your work for you to feel fulfilled.

What the Career Values Test measures

Your answers are scored across 6 core dimensions:

  • Impact

Contribution and purpose matter to you, and you perform best when you can see the value of your work. You have enough pragmatism to function in roles where impact is indirect or delayed, but you will consistently gravitate toward work that feels worthwhile beyond the paycheque.

  • Creativity

You value the opportunity for creative expression and find yourself most engaged when there is room to bring original thinking to a problem. You can function within structured roles, but your best work emerges when you have at least some latitude to approach things your own way.

  • Leadership

Leadership opportunities motivate you when they arise naturally, and you are capable and comfortable in them. You are not compelled to climb for its own sake, but you respond positively to increased responsibility and tend to step into informal leadership roles even when not formally assigned them.

  • Stability

You appreciate stability as a baseline but have enough adaptability to handle change when it is managed well. You perform better when you have clear expectations and reasonable job security, but you are not so rigidity-dependent that uncertainty immediately derails you.

  • Growth

Growth and development genuinely motivate you, and you perform noticeably better in environments that invest in your learning. You will seek out opportunities to stretch and develop, but you are not so growth-compelled that you cannot find satisfaction in periods of consolidation and mastery.

  • Autonomy

Autonomy matters to you and you produce better results when you are trusted rather than closely managed. You can operate within reasonable structures and approval processes, but your engagement and output both improve markedly when you have meaningful ownership of your work and the discretion to approach it as you see fit.

How to read your results

Results from the Career Values Testare for self-reflection and personal insight. No personality test captures the full complexity of a person, and your result is a snapshot of how you answered today — not a fixed label. Use it as a starting point for understanding patterns in how you think, decide, and relate to others, then take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
